Cool Arizona Golf Tournaments & Events To Catch In The Last Quarter

Do you want to make your grand golf vacation in Arizona extra special? One way to make it more unique and memorable is by seizing the opportunity to attend a golf tournament. Fortunately, as a place with hundreds of first-rate golf courses, the Phoenix-Scottsdale area in Arizona is a favorite spot for many golf events. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) chooses many of the top golf courses in Arizona to be the venue for many golf tournaments. Make your Arizona trip memorable by complementing it with a golf event in the Valley. Here are some that are scheduled in different golf courses in Phoenix and Scottsdale for the last quarter of 2019:

2019 Doug Underwood / UC Annual Golf Tournament

Organized by the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), this annual event is set to happen on October 15, 2019 from 7 am to 3pm. The venue for this year is at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. Proceeds from this event will help fund scholarship programs of the IFMA that offers financial assistance to students majoring in facility management.

PGA Tour Champions’ Charles Schwab Cup Championship

You can catch the PGA Tour Champion players by attending the PGA Tour Champions’ Charles Schwab Cup Championship. For this year, it will happen on November 7-10, 2019 at the Phoenix Country Club. The three-day event has raised many funds for charities in previous years. The organizers offer various options for those who want to watch with both one-day tickets for $25 and weekly tickets for $75. They also have other package options and even offer discounts for military officers.

Arizona Player’s Cup Championship

The Arizona Player’s Cup Championship is happening on November 9-10, 2019 at the Raven Golf Club at South Mountain. This event organized by the Arizona Golf Association is modeled after the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup and the Schwab Cup so you can expect a great golf game.

 2019 WTS Golf Tournament

The venue for this year is the Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass.
